Over 25 years ago a person who is no longer around told me to write what was in my heart and the rest will take care of itself. It seemed like a good idea at the time. So did drinking too much beer and going for a bicycle ride. The result was the same for both. I crashed. Fortunately, neither caused too much damage, and except for the bad memories and the scars, I went on with my life and career as a successful author, publisher, and professional speaker and still enjoy riding bikes.
I am sharing this because I want you to enjoy your life, get your book published, and create products, and not waste your money or time; or worse – crash along the way. For over 30 years I have been involved with the creation of many products and some of them were wildly successful. You need a good idea, a great strategy, almost flawless execution, and a commitment to see it through the many stages of first draft, editing, testing, layout, printing, and distribution.
